Small Cell Lymphoma of the Gastrocnemius Muscle: A Case Report

Introduction: The primary localization of non-Hodgkin lymphoma the muscle is rare. Only biopsy allows certainty diagnosis. aim was to report a first case small cell gastrocnemius in Mali and do review literature. Clinical Observation: It about 34-year-old woman who consulted 3 months after onset symptoms for swelling pain left calf. On clinical examination there hard, painful warm mass calf, with paresthesias tibial nerve territory associated partial functional impotence leg. ultrasound revealed hyper echogenic heterogeneous non-vascularized measuring 65 × 45 40 mm on color Doppler pulsed favor myositis. Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) concluded well-limited cystic respecting bone benign appearance: remodeled Baker’s cyst? Considering radioclinical unconformity, thoraco-abdominal CT performed pulmonary metastasis. carried out gastrocnemial muscle. Marginal resection adjuvant chemotherapy. advancement at 9 satisfactory.
